Mckenzie's First 48

How fitting to start my blog with another beginning—Mckenzie's first 48 hours after birth! When Cassie (Mckenzie's momma) asked me to come to the hospital to capture these early moments I was over the moon and am still so honored she had me there.

Best Way to Prepare

I learned that a fed, changed and bundled newborn is the happiest! We also gave baby girl her space when she needed time to adjust to all the movement. Swaying and rocking helped her out, but that was more for me really haha! Holding a newborn is one of the most peaceful places I can be.
